Permits
Annual Vehicle Permit Individual holders will be issued ONE vehicle sticker. Guests with an annual Individual permit holder will be charged the day-use entry fee. Each vehicle sticker is sold separately. Family Annual Vehicle holders will be issued TWO stickers. No guest fees will be charged to passengers in a vehicle marked with a Family sticker. Apply the sticker to the inside of the windshield, lower corner on PASSENGER side. DO NOT tape the stickers; they must be adhered directly to the windshield. Annual Permits DO NOT cover overnight parking on the Recreational Area. Overnight permits for camping must be acquired separately. Annual permits will be valid through December 31 of the year they are issued.
Annual Boat Permit holders will be issued ONE set of two identical boat stickers. The stickers are to be applied (one sticker to each side of the boat) at least six (6) inches away from the boat registration number.
You may purchase annual vehicle permits and boat permits by various means:
- In person at Parks and Recreation, 1010 9th Street, Lubbock
(Mon.-Fri., 8 a.m.-5 p.m.) (except holidays).
- Purchase at Lake Permit Office when it is open for business
Call ahead for hours of operation (806.629.4259).
- Acquire the form via email request to lakealanhenry@lubbockcityhall.us. The completed form may be faxed (806.775.2686) or returned via email. Payment may be made by credit card over the phone (806.775.2673); permits will be mailed to you via the U.S. postal service (allow up to two weeks for delivery).
- Download and print the form, fill it out and mail it to the address listed on the form with your payment. Your permit will be mailed back to you via the U.S. postal service (allow up to two weeks for delivery).
